As a computer literate, you do not need someone to tell you how easy it is with shortcut keys. Using shortcut keys while typing make work faster. So I will be showing you some of the most important shortcut keys.

But before we move on, I recommend you go for the standard keyboard because it has more keys compared to other ones.

Below is the list of shortcut keys;

Ctrl + R: ctrl + r key are used to refresh page. Ctrl stands for “CONTROL” and “R” for refresh. On Microsoft word, it is use for text aligning to the right hand corner.

Ctrl + C: the ctrl + c is key is for text copying to another place. It is the must that you highlight the text before pressing the ctrl + c key.

Ctrl + V: this key combination is used for pasting already copied text from one location to another.

Ctrl + S: these set of keys are used for saving document. You can also save a web page using these same keys.

 Shift + 2: The shift plus 2 will give you the @ sign. So whenever you want to make use of the @ sign while typing/writing, press the “SHIFT” key plus the 2 on the keyboard.

Shift + 3: These keys produce the # sign if you’ve where you needed the # sign, just press “SHIFT + 3” and you will have it.

Ctrl + =: By pressing the keys set of “CONTROL PUS =”  you automatically adjust font size to a smaller size.

Shift and =: The “shift and =” keys gives you the plus + sign.

Note: all the keys you’ve read through to this point, make you press and hold the control key before pressing the other key.

 

Example;

Press and hold the CONTROL key and press the other combination key.

If you ever feel like open the “run” small window for folder, document or program search for easy access, then press windows key plus r key to have it open.

  Control + A: these keys are used for highlighting a text or image on a document. It can also use for highlighting web page content.

Control + Z: these set of keys are used for requesting undo the last action that was taken.

Control + Y: this gives you the redo function of the recent undone action.

Windows + D: this will minimize all active windows at once, and once you press it again, all will be maximize.

Windows key + L: these keys combination quickly lock your computer screen.
