You’re lucky you did not give up. Since you’re looking for a way to convert the airtime back to cash, then you’re at the right place with your issue.
But before
we move on, permit me to take a little bit of your precious time as this
article is a kind of lengthy one.
The process
required two systems to connect and communicate. Your network provider is
totally an independent company and the app needed to carry out the converting
is another company on its own.
Therefore,
your airtime transfer PIN is required to access your airtime balance in
whichever network provider you’re on.
So first, I
will teach you how to get your airtime/data transfer PIN from your network
providing company.
How to
change airtime and data transfer PIN
Every active
SIM card has a default airtime transfer PIN, but it is recommended you change
it because if anyone who knows the airtime PIN transfer process can easily get
someone phone and transfer all the airtime out.

want to.
Step 1: open
your phone dial pad and dial *321# and the options list will show up. Each
network provider has its own way of showing the options.

You’ll get
to see three options in display;

- 2. Gift Data
- 3. SME Data Share

option one which is airtime share and click the SEND button.

You’re to
select option three (3) because we want to change the recharge card transfer
PIN from its default state. This process does not require you to send recharge
card to anyone.
Now, this
very step will ask you for your old recharge card transfer PIN. If you’re using
MTN network provider, your default airtime transfer PIN is 0000. Ensure you
enter that PIN in the required input field and click the SEND button.
Again, the
next option will ask for your new recharge card transfer PIN you’re willing to
use. Choose the one you have in mind and make sure you keep it private to
yourself. When you’re done typing in the new PIN, click SEND.
Lastly, you
will be ask to re-enter the new PIN for confirmation, repeat the same PIN and
click the SEND button for the last time and you’ll receive congratulations
message from your service providing company.
I will drop
a full article on how to change airtime transfer PIN with all networks. So look

transfer.
After you
done following the above mentioned steps, you’ll get a congratulation message
