Understanding the difference between Computer programming and web development

As a tech person or someone who have developed interest in becoming programmer, you should understand the words programming and web development. A lot of people think computer programming and web development is all the same thing, but there is a slide difference in them.

Computer programming is the process of a computer instructor who is skilled with certain computer programming languages to write out few or more lines of codes, instructing them to carry out specific task.

Web development has to do with the full body of those who write content on the internet and those who write programs. So web development is the word used for every individual who carry out a task on the internet fall into the web development category, while those who are capable of writing programs with computer programming language are call programmers.

Now that you know difference between a computer programming and web development, it is time to learn about them individually. By doing so, we’ll get to know which programming language is use in building specific apps.

Computer programming languages: There are over eight thousand (8,000) computer programming languages. Not every programming language you know men for every web app or mobile you see or uses.

Some languages are for web app (website), while some are for mobile applications, then we also have the ones for flash drive as well.

So for that reason you should learn according to what you want to build in the future. We have HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. These ones are used for building website (web app).

Note: HTML and CSS are really not programming languages. Hypertext markup language (html), it is use for markup of the website structure. In the other hand CSS is cascading style sheet, use for coloring and other designs of the website.

JavaScript is use for making flash display and auto webpage refresh. It can be also use for building “what you see is what you get” (WYSIWYG) text editor.

Lastly, PHP helps you carry out your website database work, storing up information and fetching out users data and a lot more.

Still on programming languages, if you want to go into building of mobile app, then you should learn Java language, python or ruby.

Now let’s discuss more about web development. Web development involves the full body from programmers down to bloggers to vloggers including content creators, even social media influencers. Anybody who has a part in building a community on the space is considered to a web developer.

It is time we talk about the individual group making up the word developers. We’ll start from bloggers down to social media influencers.

Bloggers: These are the set of web developers that create websites/blogs and post text or video content on them for other people visit to learn or entertain them.

Vloggers: vloggers are also called video bloggers. These set of people have one or more YouTube channels where they upload videos for other people o watch. It is either for educational purpose or entertainment.

Next are those developers that building and running forum websites, including social media content creators and influencers. These people market their skills or talent to build trust with followers or subscribers.
